Kanecaron is easily and uniformly thermo- molded through with conventional facilities used for molding plastic. By giving extra dimension to the woven or non-woven fabric, high commodity values can be added, including softness, decorative designs and color performing property, which no conventional plastic or fiber can achieve.


Here are characteristics of Kanecaron fabric:
  1. Kanecaron elongation will maximize at the temperature of 120 to 130 degrees centigrade.
  2. Since Kanecaron fiber itself is stretched by heat, the fabric holds and keeps shape once thermally molded.
  3. Regardless of the production method (dry or wet), Kanecaron fabric can be molded uniquely by heating the fabric to attain the desired shape.
  4. Kanecaron can be thermally molded not only when used alone but also when used in combinations of Kanecaron and vinyl chloride, polypropylene, ABS, foamed styrene and foamed polyethylene.
